WELCOME TO THE GILBERDYKE CRICKET CLUB WEBSITE

Welcome to the Gilberdyke C.C. website. We hope that you enjoy looking around our site and if you are in the Gilberdyke area during the summer, why not pop down to the Ings View Playing field to watch some cricket.

The site is full of information that we hope will be of interest to you, including fixtures, results, match reports and events. Although the club was re-formed only a few years ago, there is an interesting history to the original club, please take a look at our history page for details.

Gilberdyke cricket club currently run the following teams :-

Saturday Division 2 of the East Riding Independent League

Saturday Division 2 of the East Yorkshire Alliance League

Juniors - Under 14's Hunsley and District Junior League

Juniors - Under 12's Hunsley and District Junior League

The club holds coaching sessions for both senior and junior members, please see the coaching page for details.

The club is an ambitious and progressive one with a forward thinking structure to enable cricket to be played by all for the enjoyment of all.

OBJECTIVE

 The objective of the club shall be to provide for the cricketing and social interests of its members. The club will seek to offer the benefits of membership to as wide a section of the community as possible. The club will seek to offer the opportunity to play at the highest standard possible, whilst at the same time giving people of all ages and abilities the chance to enjoy the great game of cricket. Membership shall be open to all, irrespective of age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, colour, social status or sexual orientation.

The club will be based on the following values : -

   An ambition to achieve high standards of both cricketing skill and sporting conduct;

   Fairness and sportsmanship in all its dealings, on and off the pitch;
